概要 | We review lattice data on magnetic strings in the vacuum state of Yang-Mills theory (mostly SU(2) case). The strings are defined as closed surfaces which can be open on the 't Hooft loop. Observationally, the strings possess remarkable scaling properties and are closely related to the confinement. We will also discuss possible relation of the lattice strings to the dual string of dual formulations of the Yang-Mills theories. Possible implications for QCD plasma will be briefly mentioned. |
